Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager role
Leverage your negotiation and/or technical background to identify, develop and grow your client base by marketing company's staffing services for direct hire, contract and contract-to-hire staffing solutions.
Make prospecting telephone calls, schedule in-person meetings with decision makers, managers and senior-level executives to promote our company's services to prospective clients.
Build client relationships to drive and generate business opportunities.
Aim to solidify our company's presence in the local marketplace by consistently participating in networking events and public relation functions.
Present qualified candidates based on candidate's qualifications and relevancy to the open position.
Communicate with hiring managers to determine candidate's viability to support and resolve specific client needs.
Plan to attain weekly business generating goals.
Qualificationsof the Business Development Manager role
1-2 years experience in business development, contract negotiations, and marketing.
Self-confidence, perseverance and a high sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills via email, text and phone.
Boolean language experience highly preferred.
Strong negotiation and account development skills
Must be comfortable telemarketing up to 4-6 hours per day
Bachelor's/Associate's Degree preferred.
A strong desire to succeed.
