Job description

Data & Evaluation Intern

As a Data & Evaluation Intern, you will work alongside the Data & Evaluation team, which is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data that supports decision-making across Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Our team provides meaningful insights to both internal stakeholders and external partners, helping measure impact and improve programs and services.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in data management, program evaluation, reporting, and nonprofit operations while gaining hands-on experience that is valuable across a wide range of industries.

This internship is approximately 20 hours per week, is paid at $15 per hour, and may be eligible for college credit, if applicable.

Essential Functions:

  • Support program evaluation by administering surveys and assisting with data entry, validation, analysis, & reporting.
  • Assist with data quality initiatives by identifying & resolving data inconsistencies.
  • Create process maps to document current & future-state workflows & support process improvement.
  • Support special projects & other data-related initiatives as assigned.

Work Location

Qualifications

  • Interns must be enrolled in a graduate, bachelor's or associate's degree program and have completed at least one (1) semester of college.  Interns must be pursuing a degree relevant to the role.  Interns may or may not receive academic credit for the internship.  If an intern seeks academic credit for the internship, it is up to the intern to establish this through their educational institution.
  • Internships are temporary assignments offered for up to a maximum of four (4) semester periods.  Intern work scheduled may vary depending upon course credit requirements, intern scheduling preferences, needs for time off, etc.  Interns may work up to twenty (20) hours per week during the school year and up to thirty (30) hours per week during the summer.
