Compensation $138,100 to $160,000 depending on experience that fits the required skills and physical requirements. Opportunity for annual bonus up to 10%.

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading the manufacturing operations in Carestream's 1049 West Ridge Road manufacturing plant. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that production processes are efficient, safe, and quality-focused while leading and developing manufacturing supervisors and operations teams to consistently meet production schedules. The Manufacturing Manager drives operational performance through resource planning, continuous improvement, training and development, and KPI ownership, while ensuring full compliance with safety requirements and regulated industry standards including FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for daily manufacturing operations, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors through clear goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, training, and succession planning to drive accountability and engagement.
  • Plan and manage staffing levels, labor utilization, and shift coverage to meet production demand and operational requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs related to productivity, yield, scrap, throughput, and on time delivery.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner cross functionally with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to support new product introductions, process changes, capacity planning, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Ensure full compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, EHS, and internal quality system requirements, including equipment validation, process qualification, and incident investigations.
  • Lead and support projects aligned with key business initiatives and operational objectives, delivering measurable results.
  • Provide operational input to business planning, budgeting, and capital investment decisions.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety focused workplace culture while proactively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
  • Up to 5% travel if needed.

Required Skills & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, including managing supervisors and large production teams
  • Experience leading operations within a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
  • Knowledge of FDA, GMP, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Proven ability to drive performance improvement, cultural change, and workforce engagement
  • Demonstrated communication abilities in multiple organizational levels, including coaching, developing, and performance management
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing analytics tools
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Physical requirements listed below
