Job description

Elmira Stamping North is looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our production team in Rochester, NY!

This is a hands-on, entry-level manufacturing position that supports our production team in a variety of areas. The manufacturing Associate will assist machine operators, handle and sort parts, help with material movement, and perform other tasks as needed to keep production running efficiently.


What You'll Do:

  • Assist machine operators and production employees with daily manufacturing activities.
  • Remove, shake, separate, and organize parts as they come off production equipment, including laser-cut parts.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and handling parts and materials.
  • Inspect parts for obvious defects and notify the appropriate team member of any quality concerns.
  • Count and organize completed parts.
  • Package and prepare parts for the next stage of production or shipment.
  • Move materials, parts, totes, and other items throughout the production area as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Assist with setup, changeovers, and other production activities as directed.
  • Follow work instructions and established quality and safety procedures.
  • Support different areas of production as business needs change.
  • Perform other general manufacturing duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits
