Job description

Role Summary
CleanFiber is seeking dedicated and dependable Manufacturing Associates to join our high-energy production team in our flagship facility. You will play a key role in producing high-quality cellulose insulation using our innovative, sustainable manufacturing process. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
Essential Functions Production Operations
  • Monitor machinery used in shredding, fiberizing, and treating recycled corrugated cardboard.
  • Feed raw materials into production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance of equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain production standards.

Safety & Housekeeping
  • Adhere to all plant safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout, and fall protection protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with 5S standards.
  • Participate in safety training and actively contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Promptly identify and report safety concerns or equipment hazards.

Material Handling & Inventory
  • Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.
  • Safely load and unload materials as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of materials consumed and produced.

Attendance & Communication
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance to support production needs.
  • Arrive on time and ready to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors.
  • Report production issues, delays, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Complete required documentation such as batch records, downtime logs, and production checklists.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
