Job description

Compensation Data

Hourly: For this position, the expected hourly wage is $22.50 per hour USD commensurate with experience.
Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

Position Description

Setup and operate laser manufacturing equipment and coordinate material flow to meet production schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.  Conduct routine equipment maintenance, execute part changeovers, and perform quality inspections to ensure workflow continuity.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Maintain production schedules and modify equipment programs to meet daily manufacturing requirements.

  2. Perform shift handoffs to communicate production issues and coordinate routine laser maintenance including nozzle adjustments and consumable replacements

  3. Operate unloading tables to sort, separate and perform edge treatments on manufactured parts

  4. Conduct structural part inspections using technical blueprints to detect material defects and establish quality assurance

  5. Perform other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location. 

  • Execute technical procedures including basic equipment programming, blueprint replication, and part defect detection

  • Follow standard operating procedures precisely to ensure personal safety and product quality compliance.

  • Less than one year of experience in manufacturing environment required

Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)
