Front/Back Line Service Operator- Oscar Mayer Lunchables
The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Front and Back Service Operator to work at our food processing facility in Avon, NY! Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities:
Back Service and Front Service operations are responsible for maintaining Lunchables incoming and outgoing materials.
Duties include:
• Verifying all incoming materials using production schedule and BOM to ensure integrity and traceability
• Request, retrieve, and stage materials to the line within QA and GMP within specifications
• Maintaining a safe work record
• Accountable for traceability and accuracy of materials usage paperwork and verification signatures
• Proper labeling and accurate inventory of return materials to DSW
• Rotation of Back service and Front service position on the determined frequency of the shift
• Daily/Weekly
• Must successfully complete the current written and hands-on training requirements for BR5a classified positions
• Communicate any quality issues and concerns
• Clearing denester jams and basic operation using proper safety precautions
• Hand pack and load cases to palletizer when needed (Back service)
• Support run-through breaks when needed
• Qualify for basic operation of equipment, including using proper safety precautions
o Jam clearing
o Stop and restart
o Loading materials
o Basic operation and troubleshooting
• Help maintain housekeeping of areas (pallets, etc.)
• Complete and verify proper start-up and shutdown procedure
• Responsible for the sanitation of all related machinery, workstations, equipment, floors, drains, including disassembly and transporting parts off line for cleaning and reassembly after cleaning.
• Will perform a post-cleaning inspection of areas cleaned.
• Must be certified /licensed in the operation of Big Joe/Walkie, Scissors Lift, Fall Protection, ladder use, and perform required daily safety inspections and battery changes as needed.
• Responsible for the disposal of all trash and recyclable materials in the production area.
• Responsible for the removal of all products and components from the work area and place in appropriate storage areas prior to the beginning of sanitation activities.
• Responsible for the knowledge, use, and safe handling of all chemicals and associated equipment used in cleaning, rinsing, and sanitation of the line and surrounding areas.
• Periodic cleaning of the Lunchables room and all related material and storage areas.
• Maintain housekeeping of the area, including cleaning/ sanitizing equipment as needed and at the end of the shift
• Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
Physical Demands:
• Standing up to 12 hours a day
• Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. including overhead work
• Repetitive motion with hands
• Kneeling
• Twisting
• Squatting
• Climbing stairs
• Working in hot and cold environments (Lunchables 40 degrees F, Cool Whip 90 degrees/ -35 degrees F, Cold Storage 0 degrees F)
• Working in loud environments over 85 decibels
Sanitation: Will ensure that the equipment and machinery they work with is cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of the employment and during refresher sessions.
Quality Assurance: Ensures all products manufactured align with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function.
Safety: Will follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep themself and others away from harm while performing their duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Able to work on weekends, Holidays and commit to mandated overtime
• A Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent experience or general education diploma (GED)
• Must have strong communication skills
• Prior manufacturing experience is helpful
