A Manufacturing Supervisor is a key partner in Creation's customer focused model (CFT) as they are responsible for leading a dedicated assembly team on the back-end production process and executing on commitments. They proactively plan for cell and team needs and use the functional resources available to them to ensure they are prepared. To be successful in the role you will need to be a strong compassionate leader who enables new ideas and empowers team members to work together in order to accomplish goals.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and track production activities to meet daily FG/WIP requirements: Aging Jobs, Shipment OTD

  • Responsibility for executing on the production plan with efficiency and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Communicates issues or opportunities effectively with supporting functions and leads resolution initiatives

  • Ensure quality of workmanship to meet IPC standards and work instruction conformance

  • Manage people performance, monitor attendance, production plan and appropriately allocate people resources

  • Positively interacts with direct reports to drive engagement and innovation

  • Assess team member skill levels, ensure appropriate training is provided and maintain high level of cross-training

  • Hold and conduct regular Gemba and Kaizen team meetings to communicate issues, identify areas to improve throughput, efficiencies and track actions required to meet improvements

  • Responsible for rejected material resolution and coordination with quality

  • Ensure timely tracking, output and shipment of RMA product

  • Responsible for rework and repair execution

  • Monitor MRP & WIP activities to ensure accuracy and work order closure

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED required or two to five years of related work experience. Post-Secondary Degree, preferred

  • Advanced knowledge electronic cable assembly and components are preferred

  • Minimum 3 years electronic assembly experience or equivalent in manufacturing of other products

  • Successful supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Good computer skills: experience in using an ERP or MRP is a definite advantage; familiar with MS Office suite is required

  • US Citizen or lawful permanent resident or a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act is required

  • Basic soldering and quality inspection skills with reference to IPC standards is preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possess problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with Excel

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $64,000-$80,000 USD per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
