POSITION OVERVIEW

Position will apply principles of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to manufacturing processes to achieve maximum quality and productivity from labor, materials and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities):

  • Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities.
  • Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification.
  • Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment.
  • Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes.
  • Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs.
  • Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce.
  • Attend communication meetings.
  • Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs
  • Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position
  • Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
  • Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards
  • Job duties include but are not limited to the above
