Job Description

THE POSITION

Hoosier Racing Tire in Plymouth, IN is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our growing Team. This role handles continuous improvement of our Manufacturing Systems and Processes in our production facility.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Drive and manage operational excellence initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Implement and sustain best practices in Tire and Rubber Manufacturing, ensuring high performance and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and keep a Digitalization Roadmap addressing plant operational pain points and central requirements.
  • Secure buy-in and active support from managers and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate the vision for value-adding shopfloor digitalization across local and central teams.
  • Ensure clarity of responsibilities ("who needs to do what, when") to maintain progress
  • Build and sustain a strong local network with MTE, IT, and IE for MSM and LKUs.
Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related analytical field
  • Strong Project and Time management skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of contributing both independently and as part of a team.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship or relocation available for this role.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

  • Have a background in systems implementation or strong change management skills.
  • Knowledge of Tire and Rubber manufacturing practices
