SHIFT MANAGER JOB SUMMARY:
Our Shift Managers lead our teams to provide our guests with exceptional service.ย They are responsible for fulfilling the same duties as a Team Member, and in addition, they are responsible for managing the restaurant during an opening or closing shift. ย Part-time and full-time opportunities exist for the Shift Manager position.
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job responsibilities:
SHIFT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Shift Manager ensures that they and the team members on their shift:
ย ย Greet guests with a genuine smile and warm, inviting spirit.
ย ย Provide excellent guest service and meet customer needs in a timely and effective manner.
ย ย Use a headset (if applicable) to take customer orders, receive directions, and/or give directions.
ย ย Accurately capture orders and suggest great additions using menu knowledge.
ย ย Prepare and serve food according to brand recipes and quality standards.
ย ย Follow food safety, general safety, and sanitation protocols.
ย ย Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized restaurant to create a pleasant environment for guests and teammates.
ย ย Clean and operate all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
ย ย Adhere to safe work practices.
ย ย Follow and comply with all applicable health department regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
ย ย Keep accurate cash, sales, and inventory control records.
Additional responsibilities of a Shift Manager include:
ย ย Production management
ย ย Completion of temperature logs
ย ย Waste tracking and management
ย ย Key inventory item counts
ย ย Sales and cash reconciliation
ย ย Station training of new team members
ย ย Addresses escalated guest concerns
ย ย Driving responsibilities including banking, product transfers, and other related duties
ย ย Any other duties assigned by their Assistant Manager, General Manager, or senior leadership team

SHIFT MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ย At least 18 years of age
ย Availability to manage one or more opening and/or closing shift(s) on a weekly basis
ย Dependable
ย Coachable
Physical/Mental ability to:
Tolerate exposure to noise, extreme hot and cold temperatures, and other elements.
ย Frequently bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and twist at waist.
ย Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead.
ย Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead.
ย Occasionally climb and descend ladders.
ย Remain active, standing for long periods without a break.
ย Work under pressure, such as high-volume peak periods, and remain calm with teammates and guests.
