About the Role

OPCO CA Skilled Management is seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Manager to support the workforce needs of our growing skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. This role will primarily focus on sourcing and placing executive leadership and clinical management professionals, including Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Clinical Directors, and other key leadership positions.

The Recruitment Manager will lead and execute talent acquisition strategies across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support operational excellence and exceptional resident care. This position requires a proactive recruiter who thrives on relationship-building, strategic sourcing, networking, and identifying top talent in competitive healthcare markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract executive, clinical, and healthcare professionals.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for leadership, nursing, and hard-to-fill healthcare positions.

  • Develop international nursing recruitment initiatives and partnerships to support long-term workforce needs.

  • Conduct sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate assessments to identify top talent.

  • Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders and facilitate the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding.

  • Utilize job boards, social media platforms, professional associations, networking events, referrals, and industry resources to attract candidates.

  • Conduct proactive outreach and market mapping to identify and engage passive candidates who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare leaders, professional organizations, educational institutions, and recruitment partners.

  • Train managers and leaders on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) processes and best practices.

  • Analyze recruiting metrics and adjust sourcing strategies to improve hiring outcomes.

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication and professional follow-up.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and operational leaders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of recruitment experience, preferably within healthcare, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living environments.

  • Demonstrated success sourcing and recruiting passive candidates for leadership and clinical positions.

  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and talent identification skills.

  • Experience utilizing creative sourcing strategies, market research, and direct candidate outreach to fill difficult-to-recruit positions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and sourcing platforms.
