Job description

The Tax Manager - Transfer Pricing, working within the Global Transfer Pricing team, will be responsible for managing the transfer pricing life cycle, including transfer pricing policy implementation, executing strategic transfer pricing projects, operational transfer pricing process optimization and supporting compliance documentation.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Transfer Pricing.

What the day will look like
  • Oversee external tax advisor service delivery and team with business sponsors to prepare elements of global transfer pricing documentation
  • Analyze global tax legislation, including relevant US/OECD developments, and participate in cross-functional efforts to comply with global tax rules
  • Contribute to tax and transfer pricing model optimization and efficiencies
  • Participate in transfer pricing defense and dispute resolution
  • Monitor intercompany compliance with SOX and internal governance processes
  • Manage and coordinate the intercompany agreement process
  • Review tax reserves on uncertain tax positions related to transfer pricing
  • Participate in strategic global transfer pricing initiatives, including the integration of acquisitions into compliance and documentation processes
  • Maintain close working relationships with business and finance teams to monitor intercompany transactions

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field, with emphasis in finance, economics and accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in transfer pricing within a complex global organization
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially proficient in Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Workday, Tableau and/or Alteryx experience a plus.
  • Advanced financial modeling, database, and research skills.
  • Collaborates in a global team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple projects.

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
