Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Software Engineering to lead a high-performing team of software engineers responsible for delivering scalable, enterprise-grade web and native mobile applications. This role combines strong technical leadership with people management, requiring expertise in full-stack software development, Agile delivery, and modern application architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, collaborating with Product Owners and business stakeholders, and driving the successful delivery of enterprise digital products. This individual should possess strong hands-on knowledge of modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and software engineering best practices while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Software Engineers delivering enterprise web and native mobile applications.
  • Drive technical excellence, code quality, and engineering best practices across the development team.
  • Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations for application development initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Project & Delivery Management
  • Manage engineering projects, development roadmaps, timelines, and team priorities.
  • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define product vision, feature requirements, and delivery priorities.
  • Ensure successful execution of software projects while maintaining quality, scalability, and performance.
  • Remove delivery impediments and enable engineering teams to focus on high-value development activities.
Agile Delivery
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Guide teams in breaking down epics into actionable user stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous delivery methodologies.
Architecture & Technical Oversight
  • Define and oversee application architecture for enterprise web and mobile solutions.
  • Review technical designs and ensure adherence to engineering standards and secure development practices.
  • Drive scalable, maintainable, and high-performance application development.
  • Support site performance optimization and application reliability initiatives.
People Management
  • Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and coaching.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top engineering talent.
  • Develop individual growth plans and mentor team members to advance their technical and leadership skills.
  • Build an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise web, e-commerce, mobile, or field service management application development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience delivering scalable, enterprise-grade applications in fast-paced environments.
