As a Quality System and Customer Service Specialist, you will ensure that all Quality related functions are compliant with GMP regulations and consistent with company policies and procedures in addition to conducting audits that insure continuous control over materials, facilities and products throughout the production cycle.

How will you contribute:
  • Participate in internal quality audits and support the planning, coordination, and hosting of customer, certification body, and regulatory agency inspections to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations and perform root cause analyses for audit findings, nonconformances and other quality issues.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), ensuring timely completion, effectiveness verification, and proper documentation.
  • Track CAPA status and quality metrics, perform trend analyses, and provide periodic reports to management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, GMP regulations, and industry quality standards.
  • Support customer quality activities by preparing quality documentation, completing customer questionnaires, reviewing quality agreements, and responding to quality-related inquiries.
  • Draft, review, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Procedures, work instructions, forms, and other quality documentation.
  • Support compliance risk assessments including HACCP and Food Defense.
  • Support in-house cGMP training and awareness programs for Quality Operation staff and other employees as needed.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and prepare periodic reports to support Management Review and continuous improvement.
  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
  • Perform other related job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate, with 5 or more years of work experience in nutritional or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or equivalent; or
  • College Degree or applicable training in an accredited college/university, with 2 or more years of work experience in nutritional or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or equivalent.
  • Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
