About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established financial technology organization that supports community banks and credit unions across the United States with digital banking, payments, and related technology solutions. They operate in a complex, highly regulated environment and are focused on helping financial institutions deliver secure, seamless, and human-centered customer experiences through innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Salesforce Delivery is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for driving execution of the Salesforce roadmap across a complex enterprise environment. This person will lead a distributed team and work closely with architecture, identity, product, and business stakeholders to improve delivery operations, strengthen release processes, and help modernize CRM capabilities in a regulated setting.
This is not a lift-and-shift role. The right person will take time to understand business processes, challenge assumptions, and help design the best path forward while still staying close to delivery, team execution, and platform performance. The role requires someone who can operate with sound judgment under pressure, guide a team through change, and lead from the front rather than managing from a distance.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Salesforce delivery, agile execution, and helping teams perform at a higher level in fast-moving environments. This leader will play a key role in stabilizing a long-running program, supporting the organization's transition to a more mature agile framework, and improving the pace and quality of delivery across the platform.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead delivery of the Salesforce roadmap across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Translate strategic priorities into sprint-level execution plans and delivery milestones.
• Partner with product, architecture, identity, and business teams to align delivery with business outcomes.
• Drive Salesforce-enabled transformation by understanding existing processes and designing improved approaches.
• Own and improve Salesforce CI/CD and release management practices across environments.
• Monitor deployment quality, release readiness, and overall delivery performance.
• Support platform health by monitoring limits, stability, and operational risks.
• Reduce technical debt and help enforce standards for security, performance, and compliance.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional Salesforce team through coaching, support, and technical guidance.
• Participate actively in PI Planning, agile ceremonies, and delivery execution.
• Coordinate production incident response, escalation management, and post-incident follow-up.
• Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, including leadership and business partners.
• Help the organization continue its transition to a more mature agile delivery model.
• Contribute to budgeting, planning, and ongoing platform/tool decisions as needed.
Required Experience/Skills:
• 7+ years of technical leadership experience in software engineering or enterprise application delivery.
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Service Cloud experience.
• 2+ years of Salesforce Experience Cloud experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce CI/CD and release management experience.
• Experience with Git-based deployment practices and modern Salesforce release processes.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform limitations, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and drive delivery through ambiguity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in complex, regulated, or highly audited environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for PI Planning and key onsite sessions.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience modernizing legacy CRM or case management environments.
• Familiarity with Copado, AutoRabit, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps tooling.
• Experience helping organizations adopt or mature agile delivery practices.
• Exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities, Agentforce, or related automation tools.
• Advanced Salesforce certifications are preferred but not required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Pay & Benefits Summary:
• Base salary: $150K-$200K annually.
• Full-time, direct-hire opportunity.
• Fully remote work arrangement within the U.S., excluding California.
• Travel required for quarterly PI Planning and key onsite meetings.
• Additional benefits, travel reimbursement details, PTO, retirement, and healthcare offerings were not provided and should be confirmed.
NOTE: Travel is required for this role, upward to 25%
