Job Description

Our client is seeking an MSP Technician I to provide onsite and remote support for local business customers. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with end users, and managing a variety of desktop and network-related issues.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in client environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and workstation issues for end users
  • Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment
  • Travel to local client sites to provide technical support and assist with system setups
  • Guide users through technical issues and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Assist with workstation upgrades, replacements, and new employee setups
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve escalated issues
  • Support basic networking components, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a managed services environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop and workstation issues
  • Experience installing and configuring computers and related hardware
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license
