D3 Search is seeking a Litigation Docketing Specialist (100% fully remote) on behalf of a highly respected global law practice with a well-established office situated in Sacramento, CA (95814).Position TitleLitigation Docketing SpecialistEmployment StatusFull-time/direct-hire employment. 40-hour week. Non-exempt role.Employer Work Model100% Fully Remote Position.Note: Candidate must live within a commutable distance to any of the firm's CA offices.Position SummaryThe West Coast Regional Litigation Docketing team is a group of experienced legal professionals who have chosen to channel their strong litigation skills into the focus area of calendaring management.

The team provides centralized docketing using ProLaw for multiple offices including several national practice area groups.Key ResponsibilitiesReviews emails received within each assigned public folder comprised of internal emails from case teams, scanned mail and ECF filings/serves to determine docketing necessityMakes informed decisions as to whether the docket items qualify to be added to each case team's Outlook calendarAssesses and stages priority of all received items to create a queue for each public folderCommunicates with case teams to gather necessary information on case set-ups and managementPerforms limited research as needed in the context of verifying applicability of deadlinesResponds to inquiries from the litigation teams regarding docketed events, deadlines, and rulesMaintains and strives to improve processes and procedures to ensure accurate entry of calendar/docket datesPromotes the firm's docketing policies and procedures through all communications with litigation teamsQualificationsSubstantial experience computing deadlines for state, federal and appellate courts; experience in other jurisdictions in addition to California highly desirableStrong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules and proceduresStrong critical thinking skills to process complex orders and analyze effects on other case deadlinesAbility to research, analyze and summarize issues in writing and possess excellent attention to detailFamiliarity with various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval databasesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a teamCandidate must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervisionPosition also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasksExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentationHigh attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectivelyEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferredMinimum 7 years of current California Litigation experience on case teams and 7 years of current Federal Litigation experiencePrior litigation paralegal or legal secretary experience preferredPrior work experience in large firms preferredTechnologyPrior experience with rules-based calendar systems (ProLaw, Compulaw or eDockets software) requiredComputer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and Adobe AcrobatExceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quicklyAnnual Compensation/Salary & BenefitsSalary range is 84K - 92K (DOE/DOQ) and the law firm (employer) offers a comprehensive & robust benefits package, 401K, generous PTO, annual reviews, lucrative bonuses, and career growth opportunities, etc.If interested in this Litigation Docketing Specialist (100% fully remote) role with this highly respected international law practice with a well-established office in Sacramento, CA (95814), and you meet the above qualifications/requirements, please contact the following D3 rep.:D3 Legal Search, LLC (aka D3 Search) and its clients are equal opportunity employers.
