Job description

About Us: 
Pollart Miller LLC was founded in 2003 as a firm that exclusively represented employers and insurance carriers, with a focus on workers' compensation and subrogation. Since that time, the firm has grown to over 70 employees and now represents clients in Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, and Utah. 
Our practice areas have also expanded to include Worker's Compensation Defense, Appellate Law, Labor and Employment Law, General Insurance Law, Civil Litigation, Subrogation and Recovery. 
 
About the Job: 
We are seeking a knowledgeable, driven, and talented Work Comp Defense Paralegal within Arizona with 2-3 years of workers’ compensation defense experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker, an excellent multitasker, and will work well with a team. 
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  
  • Managing task lists, calendars, and case lists with a proficient understanding of the Arizona Workers’ Compensation Act, Arizona Workers’ Compensation Rules of Procedure, and the Industrial Commission of Arizona timelines and procedures.
  • Preparing summaries of discovery, medical records, claim files, and depositions.
  • Drafting of responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Prepping Hearing Exhibits/IME Packets/IME Packets.
  • Scheduling Independent Medical Evaluations, Commission IMEs, Depositions, ICA Mediations, Notice of IMEs, Hearings, and docketing court mandated deadlines.
  • Produce quality work product (spelling, punctuation, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt  
 
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
