Overview Position: Litigation Paralegal – Employment Defense (Fully Remote / Southern California) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Fully Remote (Firm based in Southern California) Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 (DOE) Billable Requirement: Minimum 500 hours per year About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic and collaborative employment defense team. This is a fully remote position supporting a group of accomplished attorneys in a professional yet close-knit work environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation support skills, a stable work history, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional administrative and legal assistance.
Responsibilities Draft, format, proofread, and electronically file pleadings, motions, and court documents Prepare discovery, subpoenas, deposition materials, and trial binders Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and docketing systems Organize and manage electronic case files Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Assist with trial preparation and exhibit organization Provide general legal assistant and secretarial support to assigned attorneys Support two attorneys concurrently Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience Stable employment history (no more than 2–3 employers in the past 10 years) Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Compensation and Benefits Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 – $125,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
