What to Expect
The Sr. Remarketing Strategy and Performance Manager leads strategic and operational improvements across Remarketing by leveraging data analysis, reporting, and actionable insights. This role supports informed decision-making through executive-level presentations, cross-functional collaboration, and performance reporting tied to key business and financial metrics. This role also oversees critical vendor relationships, supports pricing strategy, and monitors market trends to help maintain pricing integrity and overall operational effectiveness.
What You Will Do
1. Strategic and Operational Improvement Initiatives: Lead strategic and operational improvement initiatives across Remarketing, including HCA EPMO projects and small- to medium-sized business initiatives. Manage planning, prioritization, scheduling, status reporting, and implementation to support business objectives and operational effectiveness. Assess current and future-state processes, develop business proposals and recommendations, coordinate user acceptance testing, and partner with business users to support training, change adoption, and post-deployment stabilization.
2. Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support: Analyze key Remarketing business, operational, and financial metrics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement areas. Develop and deliver clear, actionable reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for Remarketing leadership and business partners. Support strategic decision-making by translating data into insights and recommendations, validating reports against internal and external data sources, monitoring system performance, and developing presentations and reporting materials for senior leadership. Monitor market trends and pricing-related performance indicators to support pricing decisions and protect pricing integrity. Assist with updating and approving Knowledge Hub Articles & Policies and Procedures.
3. Vendor Management: Manage relationships and performance for key remarketing vendors, including inspection, auction, and transportation partners, by establishing and evaluating service, operational, and financial performance metrics. Ensure vendor contracts align with business needs, support vendor selection and onboarding, validate invoice payments, and drive accountability for service quality and operational results. Serve as the primary liaison between Remarketing vendors and HCA VMO teams to support effective collaboration, contract management, and continuous improvement in vendor performance.
4. SCR Management / Systems Support: Own and oversee System Change Request (SCR) management processes to ensure business issues are effectively prioritized, designed, tested, and resolved. Partner with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to track and schedule SCRs, serve as the business sponsor during requirements and design reviews, and support QA/UAT to confirm readiness and approval. Oversee implementation and post-launch validation to ensure system enhancements improve operational efficiency, business controls, and user experience across Remarketing
5. Compliance & Governance: Oversee designated compliance reviews and ad hoc compliance-related requests to ensure timely completion, accurate documentation, and effective issue tracking. Manage routine compliance activities, including SCRA and SOC reviews, and support additional governance activities such as audits, KSOX, and Compliance team requests. Communicate status, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders to support effective governance and operational accountability
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in automotive finance, vehicle remarketing, business strategy, performance management, operations, or a related field including experience in
o product lifecycles and how to identify upstream and downstream processes
o relationship management with internal and external customers
o building performance dashboards
• Preferred:
o Automotive finance industry experience.
o Background in automotive finance Remarketing.
o Experience using data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, SQL, SAS, or similar platforms.
o Experience with building and documenting complex queries.
o Experience analyzing and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures or special projects preferred.
o Experience using SAS Enterprise Guide and/or advanced SAS procedures a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and work experience required.
• MBA is a plus
• PMP Certification and Six Sigma certification a plus
• Strong knowledge of remarketing operations, lease-end processes, and vehicle pricing dynamics, including how operational, financial, and market factors affect performance outcomes.
• Ability to analyze business, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• Proven skill in developing dashboards, performance reporting, and executive-level presentations to support strategic decision-making and communicate insights clearly to leadership.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, and system-related change efforts.
• Strong project and change management skills, including planning, prioritization, implementation support, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment follow-up.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external business partners.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, and control-related processes, including the ability to support audits, policy adherence, and issue tracking.
• Familiarity with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, SQL, SAS, or similar platforms, with the ability to learn and be trained on new tools as needed.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics and present information effectively to varied audiences.
