Summary/Objective
Manages terminal activities including customer relations, scheduling, employee relations, budgets, staffing, safety, and daily/monthly/yearly production goals.
Essential Functions
- Operates as the main contact with the customers.
- Manages a team of supervisors and operator's staff.
- Schedules labor and adjust as business needs fluctuate.
- Accomplishes daily tasks and partners with the general manager in managing operations.
- Manages and oversees yard planning.
- Interviews and selects team members for hire.
