State Street's Cyber Data & Analytics (CyberDNA) team is seeking a Global Operational Excellence Lead to establish world-class operational governance, resilience, and continuous improvement across cyber security data, analytics, and AI platforms. Partnering closely with Global Cyber Security teams, Infrastructure Teams, and Enterprise Continuity Services, this team develops advanced data platforms, intelligent automation solutions, and engineering capabilities that enable cybersecurity teams to make faster, AI-driven decisions and strengthen the firm's ability to detect, prevent, and respond to evolving cyber threats.

Cybersecurity platform operations must be resilient, scalable, and efficient to protect the organization from rapidly evolving threats. The Global Operational Excellence Lead will drive operational maturity across Cyber Security products, platforms, and services by establishing best-in-class production management, governance, and service delivery frameworks. This role will ensure operational stability, regulatory readiness, continuous improvement, and measurable business outcomes across a global organization. The successful candidate will lead the governance, standards, and operational disciplines required to achieve and sustain operational excellence across Cyber Security Platform Operations.

What you will be responsible for

As the Global Operational Excellence Lead, you will

  • Lead the global operational excellence strategy for Cyber Security platforms, products, and services.
  • Design and implement enterprise production management frameworks, operating models, governance processes, and performance metrics.
  • Establish and mature incident, problem, change, release, availability, capacity, resilience, and service management processes.
  • Drive operational transformation by leveraging AI and autonomous agent technologies to enhance efficiency, automate workflows, and scale intelligent operations.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Security Operations, Risk, Audit, and Compliance teams to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Drive operational readiness and lifecycle management for cybersecurity products and platforms.
  • Develop KPI, SLA, and SLO frameworks to measure service performance and customer outcomes.
  • Establish and govern quality management and information security management practices aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Lead root cause analysis activities and drive sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure operational compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contractual obligations, and operational performance of strategic partners.
  • Provide executive-level operational reporting and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor globally distributed teams while fostering a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience supporting mission-critical cybersecurity platforms such as SIEM, Security Lakehouse, SOAR to power Security Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive global process transformation and operational maturity initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams and large-scale operational environments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, audit readiness, and operational controls.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and analytics to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business administration or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Technology Operations or Engineering leadership.
  • 7+ years of experience in operational governance, production management, or service management leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global teams and enterprise-scale operational programs.
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including certification and audit preparedness.
  • Master's degree (MBA or related technical discipline).
  • Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services.
  • Experience driving operational transformation, operational maturity programs, and AI-enabled operations.

Work Requirement

  • Work shift is 8 AM - 5 PM local time with occasional Level 3 escalation resolution to support operational incidents
  • This hybrid role includes an in-office presence requirement of 2-4 days per week, consistent with the organization's hybrid work policy.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $202,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
