Job description

Power Continuous Improvement Through Operational Excellence

MEPPI’s Service Center Division (SCD) is seeking a results-driven Operational Excellence Project Manager to support the continued growth and evolution of our service business. This is a highly collaborative hybrid role based in Warrendale, PA, blending operational excellence, project management, process ownership, training, and business systems support.

In this position, you’ll partner across the Division to improve operational efficiency, enhance business visibility, support process standardization, and drive adoption of tools and systems that enable scalable growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys acting as a bridge between business operations, end users, leadership, and technology teams.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a Product & Process Owner: Support and enhance operational workflows, service management tools, and business systems that improve efficiency and support Division growth.

Drive Operational Excellence Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on operational performance, process standardization, scalability, and customer support operations.

Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with leadership, service teams, operations, IT, and external partners to identify business needs and implement practical solutions.

Support Business Systems & Workflow Improvements: Help optimize and improve cloud-based tools, reporting processes, dashboards, and operational workflows to improve visibility and decision-making.

Lead Training & Change Management: Develop training materials, facilitate user training sessions, support onboarding, and help drive adoption of new processes, systems, and operational standards.

Manage Projects & Initiatives: Lead multiple operational and process improvement projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables remain on track.

Develop Reporting & KPI Visibility: Build structured approaches for tracking business performance, operational metrics, and continuous improvement outcomes.

Document Processes & Best Practices: Create process documentation, workflows, standard operating procedures, and training resources to support long-term operational consistency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, project management, process improvement, business operations, or related areas
  • Experience serving as a product owner, process owner, business systems lead, or operational lead for workflows, service tools, CRM platforms, ERP systems, Salesforce, or other SaaS/cloud-based applications
  • Strong training, onboarding, and change management experience with the ability to support end users and drive process adoption
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, KATA, Six Sigma, DMAIC, SIPOC, process mapping, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving service environment
