Salary Pay Range: $95,000 - $108,000

Full Time with Benefits!

Shift: Mon-Fri, 9-5:30

Summary:

This position is responsible for directing the activities of workers engaged in maintenance operations, including but not limited to repair, refurbishment, maintenance of the physical structure, housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and custodial services. Bilingual English & Spanish, required.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops, manages, plans, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
  • Assists with preparing department budget, reviews financial transactions, and monitors projected expenditures of funds to ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within budget limitations.
  • Confers with management, engineering consultants, and quality control personnel to resolve environmental service problems and recommends and implements measures to improve and maintain operations and conditions within the facility.
  • Reviews production, quality control, operating reports, and statistics to plan and modify all environmental service activities.
  • Manages team members in both English and Spanish languages.
  • Manages maintenance activities on utility and communications systems to provide heat, steam, electric power, gas, air, HVAC, telephone, fire alarms, and emergency alerts.
  • Develop a preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
  • Manages emergency and special housekeeping needs when needed.
  • Manages and inspects the work of outside contractors; reports and corrects deficiencies, and ensures that the outside personnel meet the Community maintenance standards
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree, in Business or other area

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:

* 7 Years knowledge of facility maintenance and repairs, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmith, painting, and other general repairs

Nonessential:

* 3 Years working in a senior living community
