About the Role:
The Senior Manager of Openings & Operations works alongside the VP and Directors of Operations to support the successful execution of new restaurant openings and operational excellence across Mina Group restaurants nationally and internationally.
This role is responsible for providing operational leadership during restaurant openings, management transitions, training initiatives, and periods requiring additional management support. As a key member of the Restaurant Excellence Team (REX), you will coordinate, supervise, train, and assist in all operational areas at both new and existing restaurants while ensuring Mina Group standards, systems, and culture are executed consistently.
Applicants must be open to relocation and extensive travel.

Professional Attributes
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining front-of-house operations
  • Experience with restaurant openings and operational transitions
  • Ability to develop and execute training programs and operational systems
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach managers and line-level employees
  • Financial acumen including labor management, reporting, inventory controls, and cost management
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance standards
  • Experience conducting operational audits and implementing action plans
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience with industry systems such as Micros, Toast, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Restaurant365, Avero, or similar platforms preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, HR, Finance, Culinary, and hotel partners

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality environments
  • Multi-unit or multi-state operational experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 restaurant openings in a management role strongly preferred
  • Experience hiring, interviewing, training, and developing teams
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, sanitation, and labor compliance standards
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work extended hours based on business needs

Travel:
Extensive travel is required to perform the essential functions of this role. Travel assignments may include supporting restaurant openings, management transitions, operational refreshes, and training initiatives at Mina Group restaurants nationwide. Travel duration and frequency will vary based on business needs.
When traveling outside of the assigned local market, approved travel expenses and per diem will be reimbursed in accordance with Mina Group travel policies.
Salary for this role is $110,000-$125,000/yr
