We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Event Planner to join our team. This role is ideal for an event professional with 2–5 years of experience who is passionate about creating exceptional client experiences, managing luxury meetings and events and complex client programs.


The ideal candidate has experience in corporate meetings, incentive travel, conferences, and special events, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned meetings, conferences, incentive programs, and special events from planning through execution.
  • Source and secure venues that align with client objectives and budget requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships with hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, entertainment partners, and other suppliers.
  • Develop and manage event budgets while maintaining cost efficiencies and service quality.
  • Create detailed event timelines, production schedules, and attendee communications.
  • Coordinate attendee logistics including rooming lists, transportation manifests, registration, and special requests.
  • Conduct site inspections and vendor meetings.
  • Manage client communications throughout the planning process.
  • Lead on-site event execution and serve as a primary point of contact during programs.
  • Identify and proactively resolve issues before and during events.
  • Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and planning documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of client programs.
  • Must possess a valid passport, as domestic and international travel may be required.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of event planning, meeting planning, hospitality, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred

  • Experience with Cvent or similar event management platforms.
  • Experience planning corporate meetings, incentive travel programs, and conferences.
  • Experience negotiating hotel and vendor agreements.
  • Experience managing budgets and client-facing relationships.
