Vous contribuerez a faconner la gouvernance, l'execution et l'amelioration continue des projets complexes de transformateurs dans le secteur de l'electricite et de l'energie. Vous dirigerez un portefeuille diversifie de projets clients et renforcerez les pratiques d'execution qui favorisent la fiabilite, la securite et la livraison a temps au sein du reseau electrique. Vous guiderez les equipes de projets, favoriserez des pratiques uniformes de controle et de documentation, et travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec des partenaires des secteurs des ventes, de l'ingenierie, de la production et de la planification, de la chaine d'approvisionnement, de la qualite, des finances et de la sante, de la securite et de la securite.   • Gerer la strategie et le cadre de gouvernance du BGP pour assurer des controles de projet uniformes, une documentation de grande qualite et des pratiques normalisees de production de rapports.

  • Coordonner l'harmonisation avec les methodologies du bureau de projets d'Hitachi Energy, les modeles de points de controle des phases et les normes d'execution.

  • Superviser la performance du portefeuille de projets de Varennes en identifiant les risques, les contraintes et les opportunites qui influencent les echeanciers, les couts et les engagements des clients.

  • Etablir un rythme operationnel solide pour le BGP, y compris les examens du portefeuille, les examens des risques et les routines de surveillance du rendement.

  • Developper une culture de gestion allegee et d'amelioration continue en favorisant la simplification, la normalisation, les flux de travail numeriques et les lecons apprises en boucle fermee.

  • Guider, encadrer et perfectionner les gestionnaires de projet afin de renforcer les capacites en matiere de controles de projet, d'execution de contrats, de gestion des risques et de mobilisation des intervenants.

  • Agir a titre de personne-ressource principale du bureau de projets vis-a-vis des clients ainsi que pour les partenaires des secteurs Ingenierie, Chaine d'approvisionnement, Finances, Qualite et SSE, en assurant la coordination et la circulation de l'information.

  • Renforcer les talents en gestion de projet grace a l'integration structuree, au mentorat et au perfectionnement des competences en gestion des couts, du calendrier, des risques, de la qualite et du changement.

  • Veiller au respect des reglements, procedures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.

Votre parcours

  • Le candidat doit deja avoir une autorisation de travail qui lui permettrait de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.

  • Baccalaureat en ingenierie, en administration des affaires, en gestion de la construction ou dans un domaine connexe.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will manage the Project Management Office (PMO) for our Varennes location, helping shape how complex Large Power Transformer projects are governed, delivered, and continuously improved across the power and energy landscape. You will steer a diverse portfolio of customer projects and strengthen the execution practices that support reliability, safety, and on-time delivery within the power grid. You will be the main point of contact for customers. You will guide the project team, champion consistent controls and documentation practices, and work closely with partners in Sales, Engineering, Production & Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and HSE. Your work will help advance digitalization, elevate transparency for project risks and performance, and reinforce a culture centered on structured project delivery and continuous improvement. This role offers you the opportunity to grow people capability, evolve portfolio standards, and directly shape the delivery of solutions that support North American grid modernization and long-term operational continuity.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage the PMO strategy and governance framework to ensure consistent project controls, highquality documentation, and standardized reporting practices.

  • Coordinate alignment with Hitachi Energy's PMO methodologies, phasegate models, and execution standards.

  • Oversee the performance of the Varennes project portfolio, identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities that influence timelines, cost, and customer commitments.

  • Establish a strong operating rhythm for the PMO, including portfolio reviews, risk reviews, and performance monitoring routines.

  • Grow a culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement by driving simplification, standardization, digital workflows, and closedloop lessons learned.

  • Guide, coach, and develop project managers to strengthen capabilities in project controls, contract execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Serve as the primary PMO contact for partners across Customers, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Controls, Finance, Quality, and HSE, ensuring coordination and information flow.

  • Build and maintain PM talent through structured onboarding, mentoring, and skills development across cost, schedule, risk, quality, and change management.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a projectbased operational or qualityfocused environment.

  • Experience managing a PMO or project delivery function within industrial, manufacturing, within a customized technical product environment, an asset.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is considered an asset.

  • Proven ability to develop people capability and strengthen project management practices.

  • Skilled in project controls including planning, scheduling, cost, risk, change, and contract or claim processes.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication in French are mandatory for this role.
