The Learning Creator is a highly skilled instructional design and content development professional who can independently design, build, and elevate high-quality learning experiences for our client's Learning & Development organization. This role requires advanced expertise in Articulate Storyline, strong instructional design capabilities, experience developing in-person and virtual workshops, and strong visual design judgment. The ideal candidate brings both strategic thinking and exceptional execution, with the ability to translate business needs into polished, learner-centered solutions that improve quality, engagement, and overall learner experience across modalities.
  • Designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learner-centered solutions across modalities, including interactive Storyline courses, virtual and in-person workshops, facilitator-led materials, job aids, pull-through resources, marketing materials, and multimedia assets.
  • Building advanced Articulate Storyline experiences, including interactive scenarios, branching, triggers, variables, and custom learner interactions that go beyond standard template-based development.
  • Designing and developing workshop experiences for both virtual and in-person settings, including facilitator guides, participant materials, learner activities, discussion prompts, and supporting assets.
  • Using visual design, user experience, and content design principles to elevate the clarity, polish, engagement, and effectiveness of all learning materials while maintaining brand alignment and quality standards.
  • Collaborating closely with learning architects, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to align on learning strategy, scope, timelines, review cycles, and deployment requirements.
  • Testing and ensuring Quality Assurance: functionality, usability, accessibility, and quality across learning assets and platforms, while troubleshooting issues and refining deliverables based on feedback.
  • Supporting compliant content development by incorporating feedback from Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review partners and ensuring deliverables meet approval and distribution requirements.
  • Owning the end-to-end creation process for assigned deliverables, including design, development, quality assurance, packaging, reviews, and readiness for deployment into learning platforms.
  • Staying current on learning trends, authoring tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve how learning solutions are designed and delivered.
Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity, and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate brings strong instructional design expertise, advanced Storyline capability, excellent visual design judgment, and a proven ability to elevate the quality of learning content. A portfolio or work samples are required for consideration.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Learning, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience designing and developing learning solutions within a learning and development, instructional design, or training environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline is required, including experience building custom interactions, branching scenarios, triggers, variables, and polished learner experiences. Experience with Rise is also expected.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, including content structuring, learner engagement strategies, and aligning learning experiences to business and performance outcomes.
  • Strong experience designing and developing virtual and in-person workshops, including facilitator guides, participant materials, activities, and applied learning experiences.
  • Strong visual design skills with the ability to create clear, polished, engaging, and brand-aligned learning assets that elevate the learner's experience.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create concise, engaging content across multiple formats and audiences.
  • Experience using tools such as TechSmith Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and other learning technologies to create video, multimedia, infographics, interactive PDFs, and related assets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align on expectations, proactively identify risks, and navigate feedback effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail across quality assurance, writing, design, and content accuracy.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office products, including Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
  • Life sciences or pharmaceutical experience are strongly preferred.
  • High learning agility, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Portfolio or work samples are required for consideration and should demonstrate Storyline capability, instructional design depth, workshop development, and visual design quality.
  • Open to remote work with approximately 10% domestic travel required.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $50/hr. but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
