Position Overview

Solenis is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager to support and grow strategic accounts within the Industrial Water Treatment business. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, delivering value-based solutions, and driving profitable growth through technical expertise and commercial leadership.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, leveraging Solenis' portfolio of water treatment solutions to improve operational performance, reliability, and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned key customers to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth, including new applications, product expansions, and service offerings
  • Provide technical consultation on industrial water treatment programs, including cooling, boiler, and wastewater systems
  • Collaborate with internal technical, marketing, and service teams to deliver integrated customer solutions
  • Monitor system performance, interpret data, and recommend chemical and operational adjustments to optimize results
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and renewal processes
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and consistent service delivery
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting within CRM systems
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial water treatment, specialty chemicals, or related field
  • Proven success in managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes and industrial systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for customers
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required

The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,850.00 and $130,317.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
