Job description

As a pivotal member of our sales team, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Key Account Manager. In this role, you will focus on cultivating and growing your assigned book of business. Our customers are at the heart of our sustained growth and future success, making your role critical in maintaining and expanding these relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to enhance customer satisfaction and uncover additional sales opportunities through effective account management.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales and Revenue Growth:

    • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base to drive additional revenue.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to align sales strategies and initiatives with customer needs.

  1. Account Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute account plans for each customer, aiming to increase revenue and maximize customer satisfaction by developing and executing accounts plans for each customer.
    • Keen awareness of any changes in the customer's organization or business priorities that might affect the relationship and keep management up to date on any changes.

  1. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with your assigned book of business, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
    • Regularly interact with customers to understand their business challenges, needs, and objective and provide tailored solutions.

  1. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Monitor and report on sales performance and account metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management system.

  1. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure continuity of product and service.
    • Share customer feedback with relevant departments to help improve product offerings, service delivery and customer experience.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in account management and sales growth, preferably in the wholesale industry.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities and trends.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.
