Our HR role will call upon your Human Resource experience while offering the opportunity to develop your skillset as a consultant. As a member of our team, you will have an opportunity to make an impact with our member organizations on a daily basis. We offer a 20-30 hour work week, generous matching 401k, paid leave and sick leave and paid training to support your professional development and HR Certification.

Overview:

We are seeking HR Professionals to join our Outsourced HR and Recruiting Services staff. Our projects involve on-site and remote HR support where competence to handle a wide range of HR related issues and duties is required. The organizations we serve vary in size, structure and their leadership look to us as the most comprehensive, trusted source of practical human resource expertise.

Our partnerships typically are one to several days a week of HR support for our members with projects that vary in scope and time commitment which provides for variety. A short list of HR functions may include:

  • Employee relations and performance review
  • Recruiting and talent acquisition
  • Coaching and supporting managers/leaders and policy implementation
  • Benefit administration and process development
  • Payroll support and administration
  • Job description creation and adjustments
  • Maintaining employee records
  • New hire orientation, onboarding and off-boarding

HR Source Offers:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of 20-30 hours/week. (Our projects are determined by the needs of our members; we are not able to guarantee specific hours or length of projects.)
  • Hourly compensation of $30-$40/hr. based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred; HR certification a plus
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in an HR Generalist type of role
  • Able to travel to Chicagoland (city and suburban) member locations as required by project needs
