Job description

Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.
The Opportunity
Are you a highly technical, platform-agnostic engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a strong understanding of operating systems? If so, you will thrive in our global infrastructure team as an End User Computing (EUC) Engineer, where you'll have the opportunity to engineer and secure a diverse fleet of 10,000+ endpoints while collaborating with a talented team and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create seamless user experiences.
About the Team
The End User Computing (EUC) Engineer role will be part of our global infrastructure team at Nutanix, which is dedicated to delivering seamless and secure computing experiences to our end users. This team operates with a mission to enhance productivity and streamline operations for over 10,000 endpoints across diverse platforms including macOS, Windows, and Linux. The culture within the team emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a "builder" mindset, where each member actively contributes to solving complex technical problems and developing efficient solutions while fostering an inclusive work environment.
You will report to the End User Computing (EUC) Engineer manager, who is known for a supportive and empowering leadership style that encourages team autonomy and continuous learning. Our work setup is hybrid, allowing flexibility between remote work and in-office collaboration, with team members expected to be in the office approximately three days a week to facilitate teamwork and direct communication.
This role does not require any travel, allowing you to focus entirely on enhancing the end-user experience and supporting the technical needs of our organization from your primary work location.
Your Role
  • Engineer, configure, and secure a diverse fleet of 10,000+ endpoints across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
  • Administer and optimize Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions like Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune for policy implementation and inventory management.
  • Package and deploy software, manage OS upgrade cycles, and ensure endpoint compliance standards.
  • Support deployment and operations of CyberArk EPM for secure privilege management and least-privilege workflows.
  • Collaborate with security teams to manage compliance, validate allow/block lists, and automate patching processes.
  • Utilize scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for task automation and create high-quality engineering documentation and resources.
  • Establish consistent performance and security standards for endpoints while maintaining a seamless user experience.
  • Build a knowledge-sharing culture within the team and document technical workflows for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering or enterprise systems administration.
  • Strong expertise in macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with major enterprise management tools like Jamf, Intune, or SCCM.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools and data protection solutions.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
  • Experience managing at least 1,000+ endpoints in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to document technical workflows and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a technical curiosity to troubleshoot complex issues.
