We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking a Manager, Digital Ad Sales Research to join our Research team in our New York, NY location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for AMC Global Media digital content across TVE, VOD, SVOD, and FAST/AVOD platforms, delivering actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage digital inventory estimation by developing analyses and forecasts to evaluate current and future advertising inventory across all AMC Global Media brands.
  • Develop compelling reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive-level analyses that communicate digital viewing trends and business opportunities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a digital research expert by identifying trends in audience behavior, streaming consumption, and the evolving digital and linear media landscape.
  • Partner with Research, Programming, Ad Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver cross-platform and cross-network analyses that support strategic planning and business initiatives.
  • Monitor platform performance to identify anomalies in viewership and monetization metrics, proactively communicating issues to appropriate business partners.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings and coordinate with internal teams to align on project deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7+ years of experience at a media company and/or partner platform
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLookups).
  • Strong knowledge of Freewheel Ad Server and FAST Analytical tools (e.g. WURL, Partner tools - Amazon, Samsung, Stream Metrics, etc.)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of Nielsen tools (e.g. NPower, SPR, SCR etc.)
  • Hands-on experience building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or proficient in Python/Stata for data manipulation, cleaning, and predictive modeling.

The base compensation for this position is $95,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience.
