The Customer Service Specialist will partner with Account Managers to empower our sales team and ensure alignment for our client base. This role focuses on resolving customer account needs and fostering long-term satisfaction through dedicated service and coordination. This position is centered on nurturing existing relationships and supporting the Sales Team.

We are looking for highly skilled professional with the ability to 'own' the process.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain excellent records and account health.

  • Advance internal processes to improve the overall customer journey.
  • Foster a sense of partnership across departments to resolve complex inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain a collaborative and team-oriented approach to daily office operations.

Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in customer service, preferably in industrial gases and welding supplies or similar industrial products.
* Must be able to work overtime and occasional weekends to meet operational deadlines.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
* Moderate business travel required.
* Must have reliable transportation.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
* Possess proficient computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and database programs).
* 2-3 years current hands-on experience with SAP (or similar ERP) strongly desired.
* Ability to enter and extract data into and out of a computer.
