Now Hiring: Territory Sales Representative

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager Travel: 3–4 nights per week within your assigned territory

About the Role

Contemporary Concepts is a Christian organization that partners with funeral homes and local businesses to provide memorial bereavement volumes that comfort grieving families and strengthen community support. As a Territory Sales Representative, one will manage and grow one's own protected, small-town-centric territory — renewing existing sponsors and securing new business sponsorships through in-person, relationship-focused outside sales. Sponsorship contracts run two years, during which time families in your community receive the bereavement volume on behalf of local sponsors.

What Territory Sales Representative Do

• Manage and grow a protected, small-town-centric territory through consistent field activity

• Conduct 50–60 in-person sales calls weekly on funeral homes and potential business sponsors

• Close 6–8 new sales per week when actively working a town

• Renew existing sponsor partnerships on a two-year cycle

• Submit contracts and weekly paperwork to the home office

• Collaborate with your Regional Sales Manager and partner with fellow reps for peer learning

• Represent Contemporary Concepts with professionalism, integrity, and alignment to its Christian mission

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of successful outside B2B sales experience preferred, but not required

• Proven resilience in face-to-face sales — comfortable overcoming objections and handling rejection

• Strong organizational and self-management skills; able to work autonomously

• Valid driver's license and personal automobile with adequate insurance

• Willingness and ability to travel 3–4 nights per week

• Alignment with Contemporary Concepts' Christian mission and values

Helpful Background

• B2B advertising sales, fundraising, Chamber of Commerce, real estate, hospice, funeral industry, or human services experience

• Experience working in small towns or rural markets

• Strong people-connection skills and comfort initiating conversations with new contacts

Training & Growth

• 3 week structured training program with field mentorship and ride-alongs

• Ongoing coaching from your Regional Sales Manager and veteran reps

• Opportunities for territory expansion and long-term leadership roles as we grow
