About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Jewelry Production Specialist to join a well-established luxury fine jewelry manufacturer specializing in handcrafted, high-end jewelry featuring natural diamonds and rare colored gemstones.
This is a hands-on production role for someone who understands how fine jewelry is designed, manufactured, and brought to completion. You will play a key part in supporting the production process by coordinating with skilled craftspeople, organizing gemstone inventory, tracking work throughout manufacturing, and ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Key Responsibilities- Organize, sort, and prepare loose gemstones for production.
- Match gemstones by color, size, cut, clarity, and overall appearance.
- Allocate gemstones to individual production jobs while maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare production packets and manufacturing documentation.
- Track jewelry throughout each stage of the production process.
- Coordinate daily with jewelry manufacturers, workshops, setters, polishers, and production teams.
- Communicate production specifications and resolve manufacturing questions.
- Monitor production schedules and follow up on delivery timelines.
- Coordinate repairs, remakes, and production modifications.
- Review manufacturing instructions to ensure accuracy before production begins.
- Apply technical knowledge of jewelry construction to identify potential manufacturing issues.
- Work closely with CAD designers, bench jewelers, master jewelers, and stone setters to support successful production.
- Review completed pieces before final quality inspection.
- Maintain organized inventory of loose gemstones, finished jewelry, and work-in-progress items.
- Track high-value inventory with exceptional accuracy and accountability.
- Support inventory reconciliation and production record management.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience in fine jewelry production, jewelry manufacturing, or bench jewelry.
- Strong understanding of fine jewelry construction and manufacturing processes.
- Experience handling natural diamonds and colored gemstones.
- Ability to accurately match gemstones based on color, quality, cut, and size.
- Experience coordinating with jewelry workshops, manufacturers, or production teams.
- Ability to read and interpret production specifications and manufacturing instructions.
- Strong understanding of jewelry terminology and production workflows.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience handling valuable gemstones and finished jewelry with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple production priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Experience using inventory management, production tracking, or ERP software.
