HR Manager
Christian Life Center is looking for an HR Manager who loves people, respects a good spreadsheet, and can bring order to a growing ministry with a heart for the people operations. If you thrive on building systems that serve people well, and you want your HR skills to matter for something bigger than the bottom line, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for ministry and support staff, creating a candidate experience that reflects CLC's culture and values.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs with attention to equity, stewardship, and competitiveness.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with applicable employment laws and are communicated clearly and applied consistently.
  • Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes across ministry teams.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on retention, turnover, and engagement.
  • Partner with the HR Director on organizational initiatives, staff communications, and culture-building efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted, go-to resource for staff questions on policies, benefits, and HR processes.
What You'll Bring:
  • Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle consistent with CLC's mission and values.
  • Active participation in worship services and ministry engagement is expected.
  • 5-7 years of HR management or generalist experience, preferably in a non-profit or ministry environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; SHRM certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements and employment law.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with HRIS and project management tools (e.g., Basecamp).
