Help develop the future of energy on the U.S. Gulf Coast. In this Houston, TX based role, you will bring your engineering expertise to life by supporting both capital projects and day-to-day operations across complex facilities and pipeline assets, playing a meaningful role from design through commissioning and beyond. As a trusted technical partner, you will independently lead diverse engineering assignments, influence key decisions, and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations in a high-impact environment. What You Will Do:

  • Support the technical development, execution, and commission of projects.

  • Provide technical support and feedback to all collaborator groups.

  • Develop technical documents to support all operations and Projects.

  • Assist in coordinating technical work for Projects.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, from an accredited university.

  • Four or more years of related engineering experience.

  • Terminal operations knowledge.

  • Experience in technical due diligence and project engineering/development.

  • Knowledge of Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) processes and project gating frameworks.

  • Strong project gating knowledge.

  • Financial knowledge of project controls is preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of pipeline, facility & tank engineering; construction management; industry standards & governmental regulations; complex detailed design experience; commissioning experience is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with frequent travel to field locations (potentially during extreme weather conditions), regulatory agencies, customer offices, and other Company offices.

  • Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.

  • Calm, quick decision making under intense conditions and making disciplined decisions in the face of uncertainty.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
