Job Description

We are looking fora Certified Salesforce  Administrator in Houston, TX, to provide continued supportto colleagues, CRM developers, and users. Gather and draft business requirements, test enhancements, documentprocesses, assists IT with releases into production.  Develops user and CRM System trainingmaterials and job aids.  Administer theCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) software, SalesForce.  Document data and process flow as well asdata owners.   Ensure captured data isclean, accurate, and relevant.  Recommend system, process, training, and job aids improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

System Administration


A    Maintain userprofiles including but not limited to add new users, amend existing accounts,validate system permissions, restrict and open up data access, and maintainrole hierarchies.  Remove duplicateaccounts and contracts by merging, mass updates, or importing data.  Facilitate data uploads and interfaces byvalidating data and ensure captured data is clean, accurate, and relevant.
A    Createand maintain menus, Picklist Values, amend Page Layouts, assignment orvalidation rules, customize objects or fields, and similar systemrequirements. 
A    BuildReports and dashboards within CRM and Excel. Build ad-hoc reporting requests. Maintain reports to ensure efforts are not duplicated and reportvariations do not grow unnecessarily.
A    Manage ongoing systemdevelopments by communicating with users and colleagues regarding newdevelopments, support etc.  Gather user and departmentsystem business needs.  Draft BusinessRequirement Documents (BRD) for enhancements, configuration, & development;work with   Information Technology department to refine BRD. 
A    Assystem enhancements or releases are developed, schedule and test usability andfunctionality against BRD expectations and provide feedback to IT.


A    Troubleshoot and resolve user issues as they arise.  Other responsibilities as requested.

Training & Job Aids

A    Develop and maintainCRM user training materials and job aids. Obtain team and user feedback to update and enhance materials.  Use knowledge of user issues to improvematerials.  Leverage the corporate HRLearning & Development team on best learning methods and training vehicles(ie, recorded videos)
A    Develop and maintainbest practice CRM processes and job aids for internal use by team. 

 

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

A    Bacheloras Degree in Business,Marketing, or Information Systems   

Certification

A    Salesforce Administration certificationor persuing

Experience

A    At least two (2) yearsa Salesforcesystem administrator experience

Knowledge,Skills & Abilities

A    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel(intermediate/advanced), Power Point and Outlook

A    SQL skills

A    Ability to develop custom sales andmarketing analytics

A    Excellent problem solving andorganizational skills

A    Highly analytical and detail oriented

A    Ability to communicate complex ideasacross functions and levels of the organization

A    Adept at handling multiple tasks andprojects with competing deadlines; ability to adapt shifting priorities

A    Self-starter with a positive attitude;technologically savvy with good people skills

A    Working a number of evenings everymonth to maintain software during off-peak usage periods
