A Management Development Program (MDP) is a structured training initiative designed to prepare employees for management roles within an organization. The duration and structure of the program can vary depending on the organization, but the goal is to create a pipeline of qualified managers who understand the company’s culture and operations.

Many companies offer mentorship and rotational assignments, exposing participants to multiple business areas and building a network across departments, which can lead to accelerated career growth and specialized management opportunities.
