Position Summary

The client is seeking a Management Consulting Associate who will execute on agile project management for federal health technology implementations focused on quality, technology requirements, cybersecurity workflow improvement, innovation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), patient experience, and interoperability. The Associate will work within the Management Consulting capability to support the steering of service and product offering development, project planning, resource management, issue and risk management, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presenting strategies and potential solutions rooted in methodologies and/or industry best practices appropriately across projects and tasks to gather data appropriate for objectives and drive activities to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Demonstrating detail-oriented, quantitative, and analytical skills to verify accuracy of collected data to be leveraged for decision-making and recommendations.
  • Soliciting multiple perspectives, facilitating problem-solving, recommending solutions, and collaborating with appropriate sources to ensure quality outcomes within project scope and guidelines.
  • Identifying and suggesting improvements to work processes or ways to improve client (internal and external) service.
  • Providing guidance, recommendations, and direction to other team members on analyses and solution development.
  • Responding promptly to customer needs through effective communication skills in a variety of forms and settings to foster client relationships, influence outcomes, and gain mutual agreements.
  • Presenting ideas articulately and persuasively using logical thinking.
  • Demonstrating subject matter expertise/technical knowledge in one or more domain areas.
  • Collaborating with peers and marketing resources to contribute to marketing campaigns, intellectual capital development, messaging, and other pre-sales marketing activities as needed.
  • Contributing to firm-wide and client-focused process improvements and operational efficiency using analysis, design, development and implementation skills to diagnose problems, design solutions and implement solutions effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Contributing to the development of appropriate capture and bid and proposal materials as needed.
  • Resolving issues impacting time/schedule and escalating further when appropriate.
  • Remaining current with industry, competition, and vendor tools and practices.
  • Ad hoc tasks as necessary.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Ideally 1-5 years of experience in a professional services firm; client-facing role is an added advantage.


Preferred Skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills in MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Demonstrable skills in MS Visio.
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other).
  • Professional or technology certifications.
