Job description


As a Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol in Fort Collins, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and brings an innovative approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter areas.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and routine incident documentation as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
