Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor contributes to a high level of productivity and efficiency within the maintenance department by providing supervisor to job plans for work originating from requests, preventative plans, and predictive monitoring. Supervisor will include details such as following procedures as well as labor, time, parts, tools, access, and permitting required. Works closely with Operations, Engineers, Quality, and other internal customers to ensure that detailed maintenance activity schedules are met. Develops and monitors area shutdown planning as applicable and addresses capacity issues with both internal and external customers. Works closely with all site functions to develop procedures and work practices.

  • Executing today's planned schedule that was agreed upon the Maintenance Planner and operations Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that the planned maintenance jobs for assigned for that area has all details needed to schedule and execute each job - procedures, parts, tools, access, permitting, etc.

  • Partner closely with maintenance planners for assigned areas each day to maintain proper priority for planning workflow.

  • Incorporate feedback on completed planned jobs from maintenance mechanics (including contractors), reliability team, maintenance storage, operations, and skilled crafts to create a continuous improvement loop for job plans and planning procedures.

  • Provide daily communications with a wide range of plant personnel.

  • Provide labor and costs estimates- for project capital or expensed.

  • Management skills

  • Time management on break-in work

  • The maintenance planner will be evaluated on several factors.

    • Demonstrates competence in material acquisition.

  • Required skills, experience, and traits:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technology related field preferred not required,with five - eight years of related professional experience in a heavy industrial environment working with mechanical maintenance or engineering teams.

  • Supervisor experience is preferred.

  • Must be self-motivated, diligent, detail oriented, and possess very strong time management discipline.

  • Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, assembly drawings, and machine manuals.

  • Strong writing skills; must be able to communicate instructions and procedures clearly to skilled crafts.

  • Good interpersonal skills and willingness to accept and act upon feedback from others.

  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Outlook e-mail.

  • Prior maintenance planning experience

  • Familiarity with SAP maintenance system is preferred but not required.

Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $81,836.00 - $102,295.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
