Maintenance Supervisor

Location: TRG Cincinnati - Milford, OH

TRG Cincinnati, a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment to minimize down time including setup, operation and recommendations for improvements. Also, responsible for training department staff on equipment operation and repair. 1st shift hours are from 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday.

TRG CINCINNATI REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Detail oriented, organized, and dependable with time management skills.
  • 2 years of supervisory maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
  • Two years’ experience in the corrugated box industry preferred with heavy experience in electronics mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity.
  • Forklift certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. College and/or related technical courses preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer competence and experience with the Microsoft suite.
  • An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team.
  • The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.

AS A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR AT TRG CINCINNATI YOU WILL:

  • Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more of the skilled trades.
  • Assist Plant Manager in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment and supplies.  
  • Report regarding work completed referring unusual technical or personnel issues to the Plant Manager.
  • Assist in purchase, installation, repair and maintenance of various machines, and plumbing; perform welding and metal fabrication.
  • Carry out diverse skilled activities involving the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities; designate and monitor the work of personnel in order to achieve the completion of diverse tasks in relation to building and construction.
  • Prioritize, schedule, assign and coordinate the work of one employee to accomplish a wide variety of duties related to the building trades.
  • Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
  • Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Displays original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness.
  • Willingly work necessary hours and shifts as needed.
