Job description

Shinda is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator, under the supervisor of the Property Manager, who is responsibble for coordinating tenant maintenance requests while providing comprehensive, pro-active service to tenants and owners.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate tenant maintenance requests and unit turnover maintenance
  • Use independent judgment to handle maintenance request, and respond as appropriate.
  • Utilize decision-making ability to problem solve and manage workflow efficiently.
  • Prepare letters and other forms of written communications to tenants and owners.
  • Manage recurring maintenance and billing.
  • Process vendor status reports and billing associated with maintenance requests.
  • Perform administrative duties in support of the Internal Operations Director.
  • Create positive relationships with owners, tenants, vendors and co-workers.
  • Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department
  • Collect and process rent (if applicable)
  • Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of administrative experience
  • Computer Skills

SALARY RANGE: 40-55K ANNUAL (35 HOUR WORK WEEK)
