HVAC Installer Technician
Location: Fenton, MO
Compensation: $21-$29/hour + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
$1,000 after 90 days
$1,000 after 180 days

What You'll Do

  • Install residential HVAC systems, manufactured housing HVAC equipment, and light commercial systems
  • Perform equipment change-outs, new installations, and system start-ups
  • Install and connect refrigerant lines, gas piping, electrical wiring, ductwork, and ventilation components
  • Recover, evacuate, charge, and test refrigerant systems
  • Install water heaters and household appliances as needed
  • Pre-measure jobs and verify materials before installation
  • Load, transport, and maintain equipment, tools, and truck inventory
  • Perform system testing and document readings using appropriate test instruments
  • Complete all required paperwork before the end of each shift
  • Communicate project progress with supervisors and notify management of any delays or customer concerns
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and local, state, and national codes

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of HVAC installation experience
  • Experience in residential HVAC, apartment maintenance, manufactured housing, or light commercial HVAC preferred
  • EPA 608 Certification required
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, gas piping, brazing, soldering, sheet metal, and flexible duct installation
  • Ability to read installation specifications and use HVAC testing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation as needed
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Medical certification card when required by local regulations
