Job description

Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Mail Clerk to support our Operations department.
The Mail Clerk is responsible for evaluating and keying application data received from potential Cardholders so that a credit decision can be made. The Mail Clerk will also responsible be for the daily sorting, scanning and distribution of company mail to ensure that each department receives mail in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:

  • Key in paper applications and scan them to ensure appropriate documentation.
  • Responsible for filing, sorting, and distributing company mail.
  • Coordinate daily mail retrieval.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Previous banking experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, organization, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
