JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Associate provides administrative and operational support through the coordination and execution of print, mail, document processing, and office support activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient completion of operational tasks, maintaining organized office systems, and supporting internal business functions to promote workflow efficiency and service excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations Department as needed.
  • Coordinate print and mail operations to ensure timely delivery in alignment with established deadlines.
  • Process full policy requests and other emailed items efficiently and accurately.
  • Order office supplies such as envelopes and paper, following all purchasing procedures.
  • Review and verify delivery statements for accuracy and ensure prompt acceptance and delivery of packages.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members upon request.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to operational discussions.
  • Report on print, mail, and support tasks as needed.
  • Sort, scan, and process incoming and outgoing mail with precision and efficiency.
  • Label, organize, and relocate storage boxes containing documents as per established procedures.
  • Handle the pickup and delivery of mail and packages to designated offsite locations as required.
  • Assist with various office support tasks, including copying, scanning, and filing
  • Support office relocation efforts during disaster recovery situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Nuance, Adobe, Scanning Applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized, able to work independently, and accept guidance when needed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective time management skills, demonstrating punctuality and reliability.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Experience in working in a mail room or print shop preferred
