Overview
Mail Clerks are responsible for processing and distributing all resident and guest incoming and outgoing mail.
Job Duties
  • Receives mail from mail delivery truck on a daily basis (Essential)
  • Distributes mail appropriately (Essential)
  • Processes all certified, registered and returning mail (Essential)
  • Checks arrival, departure, and "who's here" report to process mail correctly
  • Assists with forwarding mail for departed guests and residents
  • Assists with ensuring the mail room is kept in neat and organized manner
  • Ensures that there is a signed authorization form for all guests picking up mail on behalf of another guest, if applicable
  • Ensures files are accurately maintained
  • Handles all calls regarding mail
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well with others inside as well as outside the company
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
  • Must have a valid driver's license
